Hey, long, long time no talk.
Really long time!
Sorry, i've been so inactive. I had a REALLY bad case of artist block, and besides that- alot has happened this year!
And I can honestly say 95 percent of it is because of band. its a good thing, though.
Okay, soo-

SUMMARY OF MAH LIFE.
Fell for someone in band, asked them to homecoming, went to homecoming with that person, but they didnt like me, went through sad stage for a little while, snapped out of it, halloween was lots of fun, I made cookies! it was epic, handed them out, went to a halloween party for the first time with band kids, won the apple bobbing contest lol, marched in a parade *amazinggg* went to pre-evaluation, where my band friend bought me a clarinet necklace!

So nice! I wear it A LOT. Ha, pre-eval was amazing, I bought mustaches, and Jessika and I wore them on the way up there, and afterwards. I actually think I liked pre-evaluation better than eval. Speaking of which, Evaluation was great, we got a Superior!!! It was wonderful to know our hard work was rewarded, and I hope we get Straight Superior's next year! On the not so great side, I learned that my dad has a disease that theres no cure for, and its eventually giong to take his life. But, he's alive right now, and thats all that matters.

Thanksgiving was fun, my sister came down from college, shes still here, later today we're going to take her back up there, I plan on finishing my unfinished homework on the way up and back.

Anyway, I think I've matured a lot since the last time I posted a journal. Its amazing how much happens in a few months. So amazing. But, I'm so glad I joined band. Its done a lot for me. Its made me more confident, its helped non-stress me out, though it stresses me sometimes >.>. And the people inside are really warm, nice, and caring. I'd be sad if I went through high school not experiencing band, so I have to thank my friends who pressured me into band lol.

Yeaahhh. ARTIST BLOCK GONE, BABY~! :> I've already got things i'm itching to draw out. Once this homework is done, and Sierra is back up at her college ,and I'm home, later tonight im going to start s'more sketches. I need to work more on my CG. And realism. Its not bad, but just practicing more on it, more frequently would be good.
My grades are doing great, for onceee. Except for anatomy, but i'm going to talk to her about how to raise it later, and its a point system, so it'll be relatively easy. I'm suprised though, usually I freak out about my classes, but its not bad. not great, but not bad at all.


Oh! And something that'll be fun, is we have the Winter Parade, and Winter Concert for band coming up soon! Yesss! I cant WAIT! We can decorate our instruments, and we're wearing SANTA HATS, OMFGGGG YESS EPICCC.

gawgh! I'm getting excited just THINKING about it! I'm going to invite a BUNCH of people to the winter concert, since its for free, and at the school anyway. Haha, epiccc.

Subject: WINTER.

Im feeling pretty secure with my classes now- thank gosh for that- I still have a little work, but I'll get over it.

Anyway!
I'm on the 7th page of Chained Freedom. Im hoping to get to page 9 or 8 before tomorrow- even if its not inked.

SO XD yes, Im going to try and get them scanned at school and see how the quality is .w. Actually, I might just scan them in on my computer, here...I know my scanner isnt the best, but hey- I may NEVER have the time to scan stuff in at this rate. And its in ink- so it shouldnt be too bad.

I think what i'm going to do though, is just try to refrain from using markers so much for patterns and stuff, until I get a better scanner.
But yeah, tomorrow regardless of quality (;W; sniff. ) Im going to get some pages up Its not the best, really its not x.x but I hope you all bare with me, until I improve ^^

Oh, by the way! The marching band is marching at a football game this friday! Im waaay nervous/excited. Its going to be flippin awesomeee XD

So yeah, im not using digital tones for THIS manga, cause I need the drawing experience, anddd mostly because I still dont have a mouse. After this series is done, I'd like to practice and experiment more with the digital tonings.


Im going through a PRETEAR omg love stage XD; I usually do this towards winter break every year, but for some reason its coming earlier this year XD Such an adorable seriess

Anyway, Im going to go back and work on more pages- im at a scene where mimi's like "WHAT?" XD You just think about that.

Heeeeeeeey, guys. Really sorry about not being on in like 2342343242352432 ages D:

School starts next monday, And I have oodles of summer homework to get done, along with band camp, and lots of school shopping. I suspect I wont be sleeping this week.
After this week is done though, start expecting updates. There probably definately wont be any this week D:


Well, my sister is in college- we got her moved in last week, it was the most STRESSING thing ever, hugeeeeeee fight, but its over and done, and just thinking about it makes me tired XD;

Band camps going amazing. I've finally gotten used to the marching, and im getting along nicely with my peers

Today was registration, they screwed up my schedule, so I had to get like half of it re-done, so im getting that complete thing on monday- I head up to the gym for PE fitness class or something first.

So, I saw and in the guidance career office, because their schedules were messed up too XD;; So at least I got to talk to them in all of that havoc.

Yesterday I got my band uniform fitted! It may not be beautiful, but I LOVE it- it makes me feel like im actually in marching band! thats weird to say, because we've been practicing so much and stuff- but I think i'll really feel im in it, the first football game X3


Im looking foward to going back to school, Im super nervous though, because I have homework to do XD I barely have any history left though, so im going to finish that up- then get working on english. It isn't hard hard work- it just takes a while, and some dedication to doing it. Speaking of which I should be playing clarinet right now...humm

Anyway, I have not forgotten about Chained Freedom. I keep dragging this subject out, but I really havent, and it DOES bother me I haven't had the time to do it, because i want to. Btw, im not sure whether I want to digitally tone it, or just draw everything out, and figure out tones later. Something to think on, I guess.

Either way, when I finally get to draw that, it'll feel great!

Again, i'm really really sorry about the lackluster of updates and getting on DA.

Once schools in, and this week passes and I adjust to everything- max a week and a half- you'll see some new drawings.

Wow. Yesterday was my first day of Rookie Basics, Marching band camp.
I learned how to do some marching steps- needless to say I have a lot more to learn-


but it was so fun. It was really hot, and i've never sweated so much- but it was refreshing, coming home and bathing. It was really worth it- and the marching was kind of like dancing- theres so many things you have to memorize and do to make it perfect- it was really really cool.

I also met some of my clarinet section X3 Reallyyyy happy about that. Though, these are just rookie basics (haha, I was the only joining Junior- but I had so much fun, I didnt have the time to be bothered about it- besides, the Sectional leaders I knew half of them, so they gave me a lot of pointers)


Anyway, yesterday was just 2-4, today its 2-6. I'll get to meet all of the clarinet players today! Verryyyyy excited about that...

I was given the nickname "Beast"! XD haha! Because they told us to scream "1, 2, 3" really loud, so I did, and they were like "HOLY CRAP! BEAST! AHH!" XD" It was so much fun.


I have a lot to tell about band, and I've only gone to one day in Summer camp for it!

Well, today I actually have to play the clarinet, so im ubber nervous- though I'll deal with it. Im just starting, after all. The more practice I get, the better. Practice, practice, practice!

Anyway @_@ Im really really really busy right now. I have requests to get done (I will get those done, it may be done later August though, when Im all settled in and adjusted to things, though!)

I have to put Marching Band into my schedule.
I have Summer homework to get REALLY BUSY on and get DONE before August 24th, with Band camp there all the time! Next week, we're staying every day 8am-3pm I think? Then next week its later hours- but yeah, I have to get adjusted.

Im really sorry ;A; and it bothers me, cause I really want to start Chained Freedom. I guess I'll have to deal with it, though.

Alright, even though it starts at 2pm, i have to bath and get ready for Rookie Basics, again.

I finally watched all of those movies, and I was told about another movie, so i'll check that out soon too =X

im finally working more with watercolors, so im happy about that---
anyway im going to a sleepover at 's tomorrow, so im excited about that (we both want to go to the same college, though thats a bit ways off, its still fun to talk about!)

We're trying to work on a manga together, and we finally have an idea- so I hope we can work on that!
